“Life is sacred in its living and it is sacred in its dying.”  In honor of El día de los muertos, we celebrate the lives of those who have passed and live on in our hearts.  Bring a framed photo or other memento of a loved one that reminds you of the blessing they were to you.

Minding your P’s and Q’s is something that we’re taught from our earliest days, but as those days wear on, expressions of gratitude can become vague, automatic, or incomplete.  In this season of thanksgiving, let’s remind ourselves that to be truly grateful is to be fully aware of all the wonders that surround and sustain us.

Ten years ago Massachusetts became the first state to legislate in favor of equal marriage rights.  Since then other states have followed suit.  Is Florida far behind?
